Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of mainframe applications and systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, Db2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.
• Coordinate development efforts between onshore and offshore teams.
• Update existing applications to improve performance and functionality.
• Lead a team of developers and provide technical guidance on complex projects.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to established standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming.
• Extensive experience with Db2 database design, SQL queries, and performance tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of CICS transaction processing and application development.
• Expertise in JCL for batch job management and automation.
• Strong understanding of VSAM file organization and management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate status.

Preferred Skills

• IBM Certified Specialist certification.
