Description

Lead technical direction for mainframe application impact remediation driven by environmental technology changes.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team through application impact analysis, enhancement, testing, and integration.
• Own release management and coordinate directly with application owners and users.
• Standardize quality assurance procedures for software development.
• Oversee testing and debugging processes to develop and implement fixes.
• Research complex software issues and recommend necessary adjustments or resolutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Hands-on experience performing impact analysis and remediation for SFTP and MQ client version changes.
• Experience using Topaz Workbench or similar mainframe development tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and determine appropriate courses of action in ambiguous situations.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science.
