Description

Lead mainframe development and integration within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development using Cobol, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
• Manage data structures and file handling with VSAM.
• Implement CI/CD workflows using Git and Jenkins pipelines.
• Collaborate within Agile teams and track progress via Jira.
• Oversee streaming and data publishing processes using Kafka and Cassandra.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in Cobol, DB2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline management via Jenkins.
• Hands-on use of zOS Connect and IDz (or older RDz).
• Knowledge of streaming tools including Kafka, HEC, and Data Distributor.
• Experience with Cassandra and Autosys.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Splunk, Kibana, and Rancher.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Beyond Compare for code comparison.
• Ability to use Microsoft Visio for technical mapping.
