Description

Lead technical execution for mainframe development and cloud migration initiatives. Own the end-to-end lifecycle from design review to post-deployment hypercare.

Responsibilities

• Review technical and functional designs with SMEs to ensure architectural alignment.
• Develop, review, and maintain COBOL, CICS, and VSAM programs.
• Prepare deployment and cutover plans for production go-live.
• Create application integration flow diagrams and support integration testing and UAT defect resolution.
• Coordinate with scheduling teams and provide hypercare support post-deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Expertise in COBOL, CICS, and VSAM.
• Strong understanding of JCL and JES concepts.
• Experience with Mainframe to Cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of Microfocus development and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage integration testing and UAT processes.
• Experience preparing deployment and cutover documentation.
• Ability to produce scheduling turnover forms.
