Description

You will lead development crews and oversee the delivery of mainframe-based software solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead development crews through the full software development lifecycle.
• Develop, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and SQL.
• Analyze user requirements to design and implement technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the mainframe environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Mainframe Development.
• Proven experience in a technical lead role managing development crews.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with VSAM and IMS.
• Ability to write and optimize SQL for mainframe databases.
• Experience using Jira and ServiceNow for task and incident management.
• Competency in version control tools such as Endeavor.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hogan products.
• Background in the banking domain, specifically debit card systems.
• Familiarity with debugging tools like XPeditor or InterTest.
