Description

Lead the analysis, design, and development of critical mainframe applications while managing and mentoring a team of developers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop complex mainframe solutions using COBOL, JCL, IMS DB, and DB2.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Define architectural standards and lead design sessions for scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance and implement tuning strategies.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and business stakeholders to align priorities and deliverables.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, IMS DB, and DB2.
• Strong background in system design, performance tuning, and code review.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
