Description

You manage the planning and delivery of end-to-end mainframe IT projects, covering requirements, design, testing, cutover, and hypercare.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver full-cycle mainframe projects, ensuring stable post-go-live performance.
• Manage RAID logs and provide monthly status updates to senior management using Clarity.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and production readiness activities.
• Align development and changes with risk, compliance, and audit standards to maintain an auditable record.
• Manage IT budget planning and track project time within Clarity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, SQL, and stored procedure development.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with RTC/IDZ tools and Jira.
• Knowledge of Online CICS, MQ, and Batch Processing.
• Experience leading projects within Financial Services or Custody operations.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and use data for decision-making.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Clarity for project management and budget tracking.
