Description

Lead the architecture, design, and administration of mainframe and AS/400 environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure AS/400 servers, networking, and management software.
• Manage z/OS operating system upgrades, patching, and internals.
• Support i5, Power 6, and Power 8 hardware alongside iOS V6.1 and 7.x systems.
• Administer mainframe utilities including SMP/E, SMS, and z/OS JCL.
• Maintain system availability using LPAR, HMC, and TCP/IP protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe architecture and systems administration.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS operating systems and internals.
• Experience with CA Datacom, CICS, and CICS utilities.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, CONTROL-M, ACF2, and SYSVIEW.
• Hands-on experience with LIBRARIAN, OPS/MVS, and ISPF.
• Expertise in AS/400 tools including iDoctor, BRMS, and iNav.
• Experience with Robot, Mimix, and Performance Nav.
• Competency in ISERIES maintenance and patching.
• Familiarity with Attunity and IBM Utilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Power 6 and Power 8 hardware architectures.
