Description

You will lead the migration of customer applications from SAS Software to Altair’s SLC Software within z/OS environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with installation of proprietary tools to discover and profile existing SAS Software usage.
• Develop and execute data analytics to create reports and migration plans for transitioning environments.
• Design new IT architectures and solutions to replace SAS-based environments with SLC Software.
• Deliver SAS to SLC migration and optimization projects to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide technical education and demonstrations regarding SLC Software installation and deployment.

Required Skills

• 15-20+ years of extensive experience working within a z/OS Mainframe environment.
• Deep z/OS Systems Programming background.
• Expertise in SAS programming, SAS Administration, SAS products, and SAS language application development.
• Experience using SAS on distributed platforms including Windows and Linux.
• Proficiency with z/OS, TSO/ISPF, JCL, USS, SDSF, SMF, DB2, SQL, REXX, z/OS Assembler, and DFSORT/SYNCSORT.
• Knowledge of IBM Software products and utilities.
• Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CA-MICS, SAS/ITRM, and MXG Software.
• Experience with z/Linux and zCX Containers.
