Description

You will lead the analysis, design, and delivery of mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS. This role owns the technical lifecycle from requirement gathering to migration and audit support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mainframe solutions using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IMS DB.
• Conduct impact assessments, code enhancements, and translate technical findings into process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with business analysts to refine requirements and support mainframe migration exercises.
• Provide technical documentation, audit support, and mentor team members on process improvements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IMS DB.
• Proficiency in SQL, SORT, IDCAMS, and ISPF utilities.
• Experience with development tools such as Endevor, Topaz, and Control-M or equivalent schedulers.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and impact analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REXX automation and mainframe migration initiatives.
• Familiarity with API integration, microservices, IBM MQ, or IBM DataPower.
