Description

Own mainframe system administration, configuration management, and performance optimization for Z/OS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide CICS administration, problem-solving, and debugging support for application developers.
• Manage Endevor software for configuration and release management.
• Evaluate complex SQL queries to recommend performance improvements and cost savings.
• Support DB2 using appropriate tools and utilities.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system functionality and interrelationships.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Mainframe Technical Specialist.
• Deep expertise in CICS, DB2, IMS, and JCL.
• Proficient with Elixir and Endevor for configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of Z/OS operating system internals.
• Advanced SQL programming and query optimization skills.
• Experience with middleware and MQ is beneficial.
