Description

You will lead testing efforts for mainframe systems, focusing on COBOL, DB2, and functional validation within ERP and CRM environments. You will own the quality assurance process across the SDLC, applying Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver reliable software.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional and technical testing for mainframe applications, ensuring data integrity in DB2 and COBOL modules.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, including technical analysis and production support plans.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to define acceptance criteria and validate ERP/CRM system behaviors.
• Analyze defects and resolve complex issues using strong problem-solving skills.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools for automated testing and deployment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe Testing.
• Strong expertise in COBOL programming and DB2 database management.
• Proven experience in Functional Testing for ERP and CRM environments.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and troubleshoot production issues.
• Experience with Java, Git, Jenkins, and Docker for DevOps integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
