Description

You will perform testing and root cause analysis for complex enterprise mainframe applications.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing across mainframe environments using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues within complex systems.
• Manage data and messaging via SQL, stored procedures, and messaging queues.
• Operate within Agile frameworks using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and SQL.
• Proficiency in SQL Stored Procedures and SORT utilities.
• Experience with messaging queues including IBM MQ and Kafka.
• Hands-on use of scheduling and management tools: Control-M, ChangeMan, FileAid, Startool, TOAD, and SPUFI.
• Technical familiarity with CICS, Easytrieve, and Datacom.
• Experience using JIRA and Rally for Agile development tracking.
• Strong RCA skills for troubleshooting enterprise-level applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Skills

• REXX experience for QA automation or SDET functions.
• BlueZone Session Manager scripting capabilities.
