Description

You will own backend testing for mainframe and middleware components in banking and payment systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing of backend systems, including mainframe and middleware components.
• Validate and compare JSON and XML data structures to ensure integrity.
• Design and execute test cases for batch jobs and message queues.
• Track and manage defects through resolution while supporting integration testing.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure test completeness.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional testing experience.
• Strong expertise in mainframe technologies and middleware (MQ, ESB).
• Proficiency in validating JSON and XML data structures.
• Experience with backend validation using custom scripts.
• Familiarity with Python or Java.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and functional testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bruno.
• Background in financial services, payments, or banking systems.
