Description

Execute functional and regression testing on mainframe-based systems within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute test automation development and improve existing automation frameworks.
• Interpret business requirements to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Perform data validation and process testing across multiple technology layers.
• Identify testing risks and develop contingency plans for automation issues.
• Collaborate within Agile Sprint or Kanban teams to resolve software defects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of test automation development experience using Java or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and IOM (Input/Output Modules).
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks including Cucumber and REST services.
• Strong data validation skills using SQL, DB2, and Oracle.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Maven, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and Sonar.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools like JIRA and Xray.
• Understanding of SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, and build processes.
• Experience with batch processing and VSAM files.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Financial Services domain, specifically mutual funds, stocks, or managed accounts.
• Knowledge of virtual databases like Delphix or data mockup tools like WireMock.
• Experience with cloud-based services such as Azure or AWS.
