Description

You will own the quality assurance process for mainframe system enhancements across HR, Benefits, Pension, and Payroll functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain formal test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Execute test scripts for releases and maintenance, recording results in ALM/Quality Center.
• Report defects in ALM/Quality Center, providing documentation to developers and re-testing fixes.
• Perform data mining to ensure proper test population coverage for all test cases.
• Conduct peer reviews of test case coverage and documentation prior to execution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience testing Mainframe applications.
• 5+ years of experience with COBOL, IMS, DB2, JCL, PROCS, and CTLCARDS.
• Proficiency with RMDS, XPEDITER, and File-Aid for IMS/DB2.
• Extensive experience with Oracle and DB2 databases, including running back-end queries for data verification.
• Experience using ALM/Quality Center (QC) for test case execution and defect tracking.
• Experience with IBM Rational Suite, including Clear Case and Clear Quest.
• Strong understanding of standard STLC methodologies.
• Extensive experience in manual functional testing, including test plan creation and script execution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and maintaining automated HP Quick Test Pro (QTP) scripts using Keyword Driven Framework and Descriptive programming.
• Experience working on enterprise-wide, large-scale implementations.
