You will own testing strategies across complex distributed and legacy mainframe environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate data-migration flows from mainframe to distributed tiers in live environments.
• Build and maintain end-to-end test strategies for complex front-to-back workflows.
• Define test roadmaps and metrics (defect leakage, test coverage) to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product, DevOps, Engineering, and Operations to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Drive risk-based testing, prioritizing scope based on data to guide coverage decisions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software testing experience, including manual and automated frameworks.
• Expert proficiency in Playwright for UI automation.
• Expert proficiency in Insomnia for API testing.
• Deep hands-on experience with Mainframe Testing processes and data handling.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, DevOps).
• Proficiency with Cucumber/BDD for defining automated test scenarios.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail or qTest.
• Proficiency with Jira for defect tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience designing test strategies for front-to-back workflows across disparate platforms.
