Description

Execute manual and automated testing within mainframe environments to ensure software quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automation testing across the full testing lifecycle.
• Write test scenarios, test cases, and provide accurate testing estimations.
• Identify, document, and verify bugs using JIRA.
• Communicate testing status and progress clearly to global stakeholders.
• Perform testing activities independently while managing stakeholder expectations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Mainframe testing including JCL, COBOL, SQL, and DB2.
• Proficiency in Java-based automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, or Rest Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Strong analytical capabilities and knowledge of the testing lifecycle.
• Ability to work within the banking industry context.
• Experience using JIRA for defect management.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of DevOps practices.
