Description

You will test and validate mainframe applications using deep system knowledge.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated testing for mainframe applications.
• Validate data integrity using DB2 and SQL querying.
• Manage defects and collaborate with development teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Schedule and run mainframe jobs using Job Control Language (JCL).
• Apply QA methodologies across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe testing.
• Working knowledge of IBM z/OS, CICS, DB2, COBOL, JCL, VSAM.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking using Jira.
• Understanding of Batch Jobs and online transaction processing environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems like CA Endeavor/Changeman.
• Knowledge of database querying using SQL.
• Demonstrated understanding of the SDLC.
