Description

You will develop and maintain core mainframe applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ensure the operational stability of systems.
• Develop, debug, and maintain code within a large corporate environment.
• Apply knowledge of the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
• Implement and maintain solutions using mainframe application development suites.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in IBM-Z/OS COBOL and CICS.
• Expertise with IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Experience with Changeman/Endeavor Mainframe application development suits.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including CI/CD.
• Familiarity with SDLC principles.
• Experience with CA7.
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using zO/S connect or Kafka integration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS.
