Description

You will develop and maintain core mainframe applications, ensuring operational stability and applying the full software development lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain code within a large corporate mainframe environment.
• Implement and maintain solutions using mainframe application development suites.
• Debug applications and ensure system stability.
• Apply Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices to the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in IBM-Z/OS COBOL and CICS.
• Expertise with IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Experience with Changeman or Endeavor development suites.
• Experience with CA7 scheduling.
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ messaging.
• Solid understanding of Agile and SDLC principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect or Kafka integration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS.
