Description

You will bridge the gap between z/OS environments and Java application development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement Java on the mainframe using JVM.
• Manage application development and deployment processes.
• Listen to client deployment issues and develop technical plans to address them.
• Act as a technical extension to the development team using z Systems acumen.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Expertise in z/OS.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience implementing Java on the mainframe via JVM.
• Strong technical sales acumen regarding z Systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and plan for client deployment problems.
• Degree in any field of study.
