Description

You will manage and support a complex Mainframe z/OS environment, overseeing infrastructure upgrades and daily operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute z/OS infrastructure upgrades and migrations from Broadcom to IBM tools.
• Manage LPAR and MIPS installation, configuration, and remote administration.
• Handle incident management and service requests for z/OS technologies.
• Oversee mainframe datacenter migrations, design, and backup/restore operations via tape.
• Collaborate with vendor partners to manage SLAs and improve operational policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe z/OS System Programming or Administration.
• Direct experience with z/OS infrastructure upgrades.
• Proven track record migrating from Broadcom to IBM tools.
• Hands-on experience with Capacity and Performance Management.
• Expertise in installing, configuring, and supporting LPARs and MIPS.
• Experience with remote administration of MIPS and LPARs.
• Knowledge of mainframe backup and restore procedures using tape.
• Experience managing mainframe datacenter migrations and design.
• Ability to manage vendor SLAs and reporting procedures.
