Description

You will manage the stability and performance of mainframe z/OS systems in Phoenix, AZ. You own the release and operational pipeline, ensuring continuous system availability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and tune z/OS systems to maintain operational stability.
• Manage JCL, job scheduling, DB2, IMS, and storage resources.
• Utilize z/OS Connect for system integration tasks.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve severity-based incidents.
• Implement automation and collaborate on system improvements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in mainframe z/OS operations.
• Expertise in JCL, DB2, and IMS.
• Hands-on experience with storage management.
• Proficiency with CA-7 for job scheduling.
• Experience using z/OS Connect.
• Working knowledge of BMC products.
• Proficiency with OMEGAMON for system monitoring.
• Experience using Tableau for data visualization.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and payment processes.
