Description

You will manage and maintain IBM z15 and z16 mainframe environments running z/OS 2.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Perform MVS systems programming, including system performance monitoring, problem determination, and resolution.
• Execute IBM mainframe IPL processes and manage multiple z/OS LPARs.
• Administer security protocols using RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret and support System Automation.
• Handle day-to-day tasks in ServiceNow, including creating and peer-reviewing change requests.
• Execute regulatory control activities for user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access re-certification.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience installing, customizing, and maintaining z/OS operating systems.
• 5+ years of experience supporting stabilized IBM mainframe system environments.
• Proficiency with SMP/E and Mainframe Software Maintenance.
• Experience with MVS system level parameters and user ID definition processes.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe storage and backup procedures.
• Ability to define and validate data encryption methods and security requirements.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) for change management.
• Competency in performing systems planning, installation, decommissioning, and patching.
