Description

You will manage and maintain a complex Mainframe Z/OS environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Mainframe migrations and LPAR/MIPS administration.
• Handle Mainframe backup and restore operations from tape.
• Design and execute Mainframe datacenter migrations.
• Configure, install, and support Mainframe LPARS and MIPS.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience supporting Mainframe environments.
• Expertise in z/OS installation, customization, and IPL procedures.
• Configuration and tuning of JES2/JES3.
• Experience with SMP/E product installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in USS administration and security integration with RACF/ACF2.
• Knowledge of Storage management including DASD, SMS, and HSM.
• Experience with system monitoring using SYSVIEW, Mainview, and RMF.
• Familiarity with Sysplex, XCF, and Coupling Facility.
• Experience in capacity and performance management.
