Description

Manage and support the mainframe z/OS environment across production, development, test, and QA LPARs. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and maintain mainframe products from IBM, Broadcom-CA, and BMC.
• Administer and configure the mainframe storage environment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and apply fixes for mainframe service incidents in collaboration with IBM and ISVs.
• Consult with end users and leadership to assess z/OS system requirements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for out-of-hours support during software implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe z/OS systems programming.
• Hands-on experience with IBM, Broadcom-CA, and BMC product suites.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging mainframe environments.
• Ability to manage z/OS setups across multiple LPARs and environments.
• Experience administering and configuring mainframe storage.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
