Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support IBM z/OS, MVS, CICS, DB2, IMS, JES2/JES3, and Parallel Sysplex environments, including system upgrades, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Manage enterprise batch processing using Control-M, CA-7, Autosys, and Stone branch UAC, including job scheduling, abend analysis, job restart, and production support.
• Administer RACF security, including user/group management, dataset permissions, access controls, and SOX compliance.
• Support legacy applications developed in COBOL, Assembler, REXX, JCL, and SAS, including troubleshooting and code promotion using RTC and SCLM.
• Perform system diagnostics, root cause analysis, disaster recovery support, storage management, secure file transfer (SFTP/Connect: Direct), and automation using CA-OPS/MVS and Net View while collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure teams.

• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, automation, and disaster recovery experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux on IBM Z (RHEL, z/VM)
• Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, SOX compliance, and enterprise infrastructure modernization
• IBM Mainframe or related certifications are preferred
