Description

You will perform medium to high-level machine systems troubleshooting and repair while providing technical support across all operational phases.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, fluid power, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems.
• Perform component-level troubleshooting for electrical and electronic systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to define project needs and assist with the design and specification of mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems.
• Execute maintenance on mechanical components including bearings, gears, clutches, belts, and seals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in AC/DC circuits and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with PLC systems, including basic hardware and system configurations.
• Knowledge of industrial semiconductors, solid-state drives, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with electronic motor drive technologies including servo-motors, encoders, tachometers, and variable-frequency drives.
• Working knowledge of control and chart recorders and transducers.
• Understanding of I/O and interfacing concepts using microcomputers.
• Strict adherence to electrical safety and lockout/tagout processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, and pulling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
