You will provide technical expertise and instructional support for C-17 maintenance training systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor during device verification and validation processes.
• Provide specialized knowledge on C-17 Flight Control Systems to ensure design and modifications align with operational fidelity.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering to address design changes required for full entry into service.
• Support the development of accurate training materials and enhance instructional effectiveness.
• Act as a liaison between the internal team and Boeing Defence United Kingdom.

Required Skills

• Minimum of eight years of experience in maintenance training systems or maintenance simulation devices.
• Direct experience with C-17 Globemaster III aircraft maintenance.
• Previous experience as a C-17 Maintenance Training System Instructor.
• In-depth knowledge of C-17 Flight Control Systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a USAF C-17 Flying Crew Chief.
• Certified instructor.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical trades related to aircraft maintenance.
