Description

You will repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of production machinery and plant facilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and replace faulty electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Troubleshoot automated equipment using Programmable Logic Controllers to identify problems and implement program changes.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment.
• Dismantle machines to inspect parts for wear or misalignment, replacing broken components using hand or power tools.
• Operate metalworking tools like lathes, drill presses, or grinders to repair parts.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of combined experience in electrical plant maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and general mechanical maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using power tools and metalworking equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify PLC programs.
• Capability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with a variety of different PLC brands.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school.
