Description

You will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical equipment across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems per state and local codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics on facility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, conveyors, and mechanical infrastructure.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and execute timely repairs to minimize operational downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records while adhering to OSHA and NFPA guidelines.

Required Skills

• Current State of Texas Licensed Electrician – Journeyman or higher.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or facilities maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices.
• Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA compliance standards.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Capability to respond to maintenance calls outside of standard hours as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, motor controls, and energy-efficient technologies.
