Description

You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment to optimize availability.

Responsibilities

  • Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks on production equipment and facility systems.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system defects to identify necessary repairs or programming adjustments.
  • Utilize a CMMS to manage work orders and record all completed maintenance data.
  • Support the installation, setup, modification, and relocation of machinery to meet production requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) practices and Occupational Health and Safety standards.

Required Skills

  • 4-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or 2 years with a recognized trade certification.
  • Ability to read electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC systems, robots, AC/DC drives, servo drives, and motion controls.
  • Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs such as Siemens Step 7 or Beckhoff TwinCat.
  • Proficiency in testing low voltage components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Understanding of electric circuitry, including contactors, relays, limit switches, and proximity sensors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS software.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work rotating shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
