Description

You maintain and repair material handling equipment to ensure operational specifications are met.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) through belt tracking, component adjustment, and lubrication.
• Execute preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuitry using test equipment and resolve conveyance problems.
• Manage work orders in the asset management system, tracking labor, parts, and equipment data.
• Respond to service calls to correct equipment failures and perform root cause analysis on performance issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Electrical troubleshooting including wiring, AC power, AC motors, control panels, and electrical schematics.
• Mechanical expertise with gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, and guide rollers.
• Experience with PLC, PC controllers, servo drives, DC power supplies, and optical devices like encoders and photoeyes.
• Ability to analyze system performance data and manage design-performance resolutions.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Allen-Bradley RSLogix5000 PLC platforms.
• Knowledge of DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, or Ethernet network communications.
• Associate degree, vocational technical training, or specialized certifications.
