Managed File Transfer Specialist

You will manage secure and efficient data transfer between internal and external systems using Managed File Transfer protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end file transfer processes, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Configure and maintain file transfer protocols and standards to ensure secure data transmission.
• Monitor file transfer systems and networks for performance, errors, and security breaches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to file transfer processes and protocols.
• Implement security measures including PGP encryption and SSL/PKI certificate processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in managed file transfer or data integration roles.
• Administrative expertise in Connect:Direct, including upgrades, installations, and support.
• Hands-on experience with NDM and file transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and HTTP/S.
• Practical knowledge of PGP encryption and SSL/PKI certificate processes.
• Proficiency with UNIX commands and shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with MFT tools such as IBM Sterling File Gateway, Axway, or Globalscape.
• Understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and security concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Python, shell, or perl.
• Certified File Transfer Professional (CFTP) certification.
