Description

Lead a team of individual contributors in the design, development, and release of new products and system updates. Own the full software development life cycle, including coaching, performance management, and budget oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers through the full software development life cycle, providing technical coaching and career development.
• Manage headcount, project deliverables, schedules, and budgets to align with organizational roadmaps.
• Coordinate with outsourced partners and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
• Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for cost reduction within the development lifecycle.
• Communicate project status and escalate technical or resource risks to program managers and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of IT industry experience, including 4+ years in a Project Manager or Engineering Manager role.
• Extensive experience managing teams working with Core Java, J2EE, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, and NodeJS.
• Proven track record managing multiple full release project life cycles using Agile and CI/CD methodologies.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API gateway integration, and RESTful web services.
• Experience with database applications including SQL, NoSQL, and Oracle.
• Proficiency with Integrated Development Environments like Eclipse and SonarQube.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools for converged systems (Server, Storage, Networking).
• Ability to lead and manage human capital across globally dispersed geographies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Native platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) and Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Jetty and Tomcat webservers.
• Experience with HPE UI tools such as HPE Piano or HPE Grommet.
