Description

Lead the design, development, and release of new products and system software updates for a team of individual contributors.

Responsibilities

• Lead developers through the full release project life cycle, managing headcount, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate projects involving operating systems, networking, databases, and internet-related tools.
• Manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers to ensure product quality and schedule adherence.
• Drive people management through hiring, performance planning, coaching, and career development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and workflow orchestration.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of IT industry experience with at least 4 years in a Project Manager role.
• Extensive experience with Core Java, J2EE, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, and NodeJS.
• Proven track record managing full-stack web-based solutions using Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.
• Deep understanding of DB applications including SQL, NoSQL, and Oracle.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with web servers such as Jetty and Tomcat.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API gateway integration.
• Proficiency with integrated development environments like Eclipse and SonarQube.
• Strong experience in configuration management tools for converged systems (Server, Storage, Networking).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Cloud Native platforms, specifically Kubernetes and Docker containers.
