Description

Lead cloud security assessments and hardening across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Own the team’s security workflows and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and analysis of security configurations for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and marketplace offerings.
• Deploy cloud services in sandbox environments to conduct vulnerability assessments and identify infrastructure gaps.
• Develop security compliance guidance and recommend guardrails in collaboration with development and architecture teams.
• Mentor the cloud security team and lead process improvement initiatives to refine security assessment workflows.
• Communicate complex security concepts and remediation recommendations to technical stakeholders and C-Suite leadership.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management position.
• In-depth hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
• Practical application of security frameworks including CIS Benchmarks, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001.
• Mandatory ISC2 CISSP certification.
• Solutions Architect certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Security specialty certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• CCSP certification.
• Agile Framework experience.
