Description

Lead a technical team to deliver end-to-end big data solutions on the Azure Cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation for data ingestion, modeling, processing, and visualization.
• Manage functional and non-functional scope, including data security, privacy, and quality.
• Establish standard data practices and governance frameworks.
• Direct data program implementations using agile methodologies.
• Mentor engineering staff and contribute to hiring and capability building.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in data-related technologies.
• 1+ years of expertise in Azure Cloud services.
• Proven experience delivering at least one project as an architect.
• Expertise in Java or Scala; Python is a plus.
• Expertise in Spark (Core, Streaming, SQL), Storm, or Flink.
• Deep knowledge of Big Data Architecture Patterns and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Experience with ingestion tools such as Sqoop, Flume, or NiFi.
• Experience with distributed messaging like Kafka, Pulsar, or Pub/Sub.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, or Big Table.
• Experience developing with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Cloud or Big Data technology certifications.
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Informatica or Talend.
