Description

You will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of GCP Cloud-based big data solutions. You will translate client requirements into technical designs for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and computation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for data modeling, processing, visualization, and security.
• Manage functional and non-functional scope, including data governance, privacy, and quality.
• Lead a team through agile program implementations and participate in client stakeholder workshops.
• Drive people management efforts, including hiring and capability building.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in data-related technologies.
• 1+ years of experience with GCP Cloud services and delivering at least one project as an architect.
• Expertise in Big Data Architecture Patterns and end-to-end GCP Cloud solution delivery.
• Strong programming background in Java or Scala, with proficiency in Python.
• Expertise in distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark (Core, Streaming, SQL), Storm, or Flink.
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and big data ingestion tools like Sqoop, Flume, or NiFi.
• Experience with distributed messaging and ingestion frameworks including Kafka, Pulsar, or Pub/Sub.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, or Big Table.
• Experience developing with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• GCP cloud platform or big data technologies certification.
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes engine.
• Familiarity with traditional ETL tools like Informatica or Talend.
