Description

Lead end-to-end data migration projects from initial planning through execution and post-migration support. You will own the planning, execution, and oversight of migration initiatives within federal and state markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage data analysis, cleansing, and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
• Design and execute test plans to validate migration processes and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Prepare and present status updates, reports, and technical documentation to stakeholders and leadership.
• Mentor data professionals and facilitate synchronization meetings to ensure consistent delivery.
• Monitor project progress to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience in data or software engineering.
• 6+ years of experience specifically in data migration and project management.
• 3+ years of direct oversight in data migration projects, programs, or practice areas.
• Substantial experience working within federal and state markets.
• Deep expertise in data migration frameworks and optimization strategies.
• Proven history of implementing automated data migration processes.
• Experience providing oversight for scalable and maintainable data solutions.
• Background in government contracting industry compliance and information security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
