Lead engineering teams while architecting front-end applications and establishing delivery best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect front-end applications and provide technical guidance on experience technologies.
• Manage client relationships and translate business problems into technical design plans.
• Liaise with Information Architects and Designers to ensure interface usability and feasibility.
• Communicate responsibilities to track leads and mentor teams to meet client expectations.
• Drive and enhance development methodologies and risk mitigation solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent covering Math, Algorithms, Data Structures, Networking, Databases, Operating Systems, and Graphics.
• Expertise in hand-coded HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/OOJS.
• Experience building React applications and using state-management frameworks like Redux (with Thunk/Saga) or MobX.
• Experience with Front End Architecture, including Monolithic and Micro-Frontend patterns.
• Proficiency with Node.js and setting up/automating frontend build systems using Grunt or Gulp.
• Hands-on experience with TDD in JS using Jest, React testing library, Jasmine, Mocha, or Karma.
• Knowledge of JavaScript design patterns and client-side templating languages like Handlebars or Mustache.
• Experience with responsive design using fluid grids and Bootstrap.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MV* frameworks such as AngularJS or Backbone.js.
• Background working with large branded websites, CMS, E-commerce platforms, or backend frameworks like Java and .NET.
