Description

You will lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle databases to ensure high availability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Oracle databases across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Develop stored procedures and automate tasks using Shell and Python scripting.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring database issues.
• Manage database security, patching, and upgrades while utilizing monitoring tools like IBM Guardium and Tenable.
• Support integration across diverse RDBMS platforms including DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, and Postgres Aurora.

Required Skills

• 11-13 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of expertise in Oracle Database Management.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Python.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with stored procedures and database automation.
• Familiarity with UDB, DB2, SYBASE, SQL Server, and Postgres Aurora.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Guardium and Tenable for monitoring and vulnerability reporting.
• At least 10 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
