Description

You will manage product pricing, production planning, and inventory optimization to maximize net sales realization.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing strategies through competitor assessment, strategic grade positioning, and market trend analysis.
• Manage discount structures including cash, trade, and locational slabs while tracking import offers and tariff arbitrage.
• Coordinate production planning by consolidating sales plans, tracking feedstock availability, and preparing material balances.
• Optimize inventory levels at plants and depots to prevent sales loss and manage the depletion of ageing or slow-moving stock.
• Drive by-product sales across all sites to minimize stock and manage storage space for plant operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product management or production planning.
• Deep understanding of product economics, competing product economics, and global product economics.
• Proficiency in pricing strategies and Net Sales Realization (NSR) optimization.
• Experience with budgeting, working capital management, and cost control.
• Ability to perform market share analysis and track industry consumption trends.
• Analytical skills for assessing sector growth and production share.
• Knowledge of end-use sectors and specific product technologies.
• Competency in decision making and customer knowledge.
