Description

Lead a team of software engineers while owning technical design, system stability, and delivery for large-scale, low-latency content handling systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product and business requirements to create technical designs and specification documents.
• Research and integrate new technologies to improve performance, reduce costs, and maintain quality.
• Develop and enhance software systems for high-volume, low-latency content delivery.
• Collaborate with QA to define test methodologies, prepare test plans, and identify defects.
• Partner with operations to ensure 24/7/365 system stability and high availability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in software development and 3+ years in software engineering management.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, specifically MySQL and AWS DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of data formats including XML and JSON.
• Cloud experience with AWS, including Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, ECS, and EC2.
• Proficiency with Linux platform and shell scripting.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
