Lead a technical team focused on AWS services and big data development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical team, including recruiting new members and providing guidance on development tasks.
• Contribute to software architecture, technology selection, and proof of concepts.
• Review technical requirements, implementation proposals, and code to ensure quality and alignment with business goals.
• Drive projects through the full development life-cycle and collaborate with product management, QA, and marketing.
• Educate the engineering team on design principles and transfer knowledge through technical talks and walkthroughs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of development experience in Data warehousing and Big Data.
• Expertise in AWS services: VPC, IAM, S3, Kinesis, Firehose, ECS, Eventbridge, SQS, SNS, and Glue.
• Proficiency with database technologies: Oracle, AWS Redshift, Hive, and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, MapReduce, and Apache Kafka or JMS.
• Strong background in data transformation, enrichment, cleaning, and XML/JSON processing.
• Experience in troubleshooting, service monitoring, performance tuning, and optimizations.
• Ability to provide software and component-level designs.
