Description

You will lead the management and maintenance of SQL database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MySQL, MS SQL, DB2, and Sybase environments.
• Develop and support stored procedures, scripts, and automation tasks using Python and Shell scripting.
• Administer and monitor database environments across Linux, UNIX, and Windows platforms.
• Implement security and vulnerability mitigation using IBM Guardium and Tenable.
• Execute performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery testing.
• Drive improvements in database stability, availability, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 11-13 years of total professional experience in database management and IT infrastructure.
• Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in SQL database management.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, MS SQL, DB2, Sybase, and UDB.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python for database automation.
• Strong administration skills in Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments.
• Experience with database monitoring, auditing, and security tools like Guardium and Tenable.
• 10+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL Aurora and Microsoft Azure environments.
