Description

You will lead the operational administration of the Housing Choice Voucher program to ensure contract compliance and performance goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations including waiting list administration, intake, occupancy, inspections, quality assurance, and customer service.
• Interpret HUD regulations and guidelines to maintain compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual standards.
• Manage full supervisory duties including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and workload assignment.
• Identify compliance risks and oversee audits related to HQS, SEMAP, Finance, and Fair Housing.
• Maintain data integrity within the system-of-record, including the timely submission and correction of HUD Form 50058.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Housing Choice Voucher and Section 8 rental assistance programs.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible management and supervisory experience.
• Four years of experience administering public or private housing/assisted housing programs.
• Bachelor's degree or 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general technology solutions.
• Strong ability to write professional letters, reports, and procedural documentation.
• Capability to interpret and apply federal and agency policies and regulations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or non-regular hours as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience managing a Section 8 rental assistance program with staff supervision.
