Description

You will own the manual quality assurance process for software releases, ensuring functional integrity through rigorous testing and defect tracking.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to create detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing cycles.
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Verify bug fixes and perform necessary re-testing to ensure resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in manual software testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Basic proficiency in SQL and database queries.
• Experience testing web or mobile applications.

Preferred Skills

• API testing knowledge using Postman.
• Exposure to automation testing tools.
