Description

Lead manual and automated quality assurance efforts for applications, owning the release quality from requirements analysis through defect resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to design detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute functional, UI, integration, and regression tests across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and smoke testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Participate in sprint planning and collaborate with developers to resolve reported issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands-on manual testing experience with web and/or mobile applications.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Working knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Basic experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git preferred).
• Ability to integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading QA efforts in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
